Tourism authorities in Peru announced that Decameron Hotels is getting ready to build a new resort in Punta Sal, in the region of Tumbes, in northern Peru. The beaches in Punta Sal are known for its white sand and warm Pacific water, as well as for its marine life. Another attraction that visitors can enjoy in the area is the Tumbes Mangroves Natural Sanctuary, where 148 kinds of birds can be seen while sailing through the water canals.
