Madrid Fusion

Since Lima was awarded the title of Gastronomy Capital of Latin America by the Madrid Fusion, Peru’s stand at this event is a must to visit every year. Visitors to the stand can try the new and traditional Peruvian cuisine shown by outstanding chefs and oenologists; the later presenting the Peruvian liquor, pisco, made entirely with grapes since the 16th century.

Since the UN declared 2008 as the Year of the Potato, Peru is worldwide known as the birthplace of the famous Andean tuber, which means showing gourmet dishes made with a variety of potatoes among other exquisites such as the traditional “cebiche” that is shown in different mouthwatering presentations at all Madrid Fusion events.
