Documentary about the meteorite of Carancas on TV

The National Geographic channel will soon show a documentary about the meteorite that crashed in Carancas, Puno, in southeastern Peru, creating a 26-foot wide crater on September 2007. The documentary will be produced in 4 languages, English, Spanish, German and Japanese. According to the National Geologic, Mining and Metallurgist Institute of Peru, the meteorite of Carancas, with the size of a basketball, may have been part of an asteroid of the solar system and about 1,500 million years old.
