Chilcano
is distinguished every year in January with a whole week of celebrations on its
honor. This year, Chilcano’s Week, will be celebrated from January 9th
to January 18th.
If you are lucky to have
a bottle of the Peruvian brandy, pisco, you may want to try making a Chilcano
at home; the following is the original
recipe:
INGREDIENTS:
Ice cubes
2 oz. of Pisco2 drops of Angostura Bitter
¼ oz. of lime juice
2 slices of lime
Ginger Ale
METHOD: Mix pisco, 1
slice of lime, and lime juice, in a long glass. And then, add ice and top with
ginger ale.
GARNISHMENT: 2 drops of
