The best time of the year for many is already here; traditional drinks and foods are served and taste again. Moreover, chefs, baristas, and bartenders, keep creating new flavors based on the traditional ones; fusions that delight holiday enthusiasts. For eggnog lovers, the Peruvian Eggnog, created by Nate DeWitt of Mise en Place, Tampa FL, could be the unique touch on your Christmas party.

If you are lucky to have a bottle of the Peruvian liquor, Pisco, you may want to try your bartender skills at home and prepare a Peruvian Eggnog, just follow this recipe:

INGREDIENTS:
1 ounce of Pisco
½ ounce of Voyant Chai Cream Liqueur
¾ ounce of Heavy Cream
½ ounce Simple Syrup
1 Egg
1 fresh stick Cinnamon

METHOD: Shake in cocktail shaker and serve in a martini glass.
GARNISHMENT: top with fresh cinnamon.
